About Goodstart Warwick Wood Street
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Warwick - Wood Street is on the west side of Warwick and situated in the Westside Shopping Centre, so we are conveniently located for the daily drop-off and pick-up.
At Goodstart Early Learning Warwick Wood Street our educators are highly qualified, friendly and professional. We work in close collaboration with families and the wider community and we value all input for the benefit of the children.
The centre has excellent facilities providing an environment encouraging children to learn, grow and thrive.
Inside, all of the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities.
Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability.
The centre sits amid a wonderful outdoor natural playground allowing children to explore and build their gross motor skills with sandpits, swings, water tank, grass and tan bark softfall areas, water tanks, flower gardens, vege patch, dry creek bed and bridge and lots of shade. We believe our environment is a welcoming space where we reflect and enrich the lives and identities of children and families of our centre.
We cater for different learning capacities and learning styles and invite children and families to contribute ideas, interests and questions.
A major focus for our centre is how working with the broader community can help us enrich the children’s learning experience. Through visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we are able to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.
We would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and your family and learn a little about how we can best support you on the journey of lifelong learning.
