Our four-room centre includes bright, well-resourced spaces for various early learning stages. There's our Lilly Pilly nursery for under 2s, Kangaroo Paws (2-3s), Gumnuts (3-4s), and the Waratah kindergarten room (up to age 5).

We're so proud of the beautiful space we've created. Children enjoy exploring our inviting natural playground, which fosters creativity and connection with the environment.

Our teams actively involve families through Storypark, regular newsletters, and much-loved events.

At Goodstart Warwick – Wood Street, our philosophy centres around the belief that every child is a unique individual with their own interests and strengths. We embrace a play-based learning approach that nurtures curiosity and creativity, allowing children to explore their world in meaningful ways.

Through our philosophy, we aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and become confident, capable learners. 
Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. 
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators. 
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.

Teachers with bachelor's degrees run our kindergarten program, so children can be well on their way to excellent learning outcomes by the time they start school.

My name is Kirstine Moncada, and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart – Warwick Wood Street.

I have proudly served as Centre Director at our Warwick- Wood Street location for over five years and have worked within the early childhood sector for more than 20 years. For the past nine years, I have held Centre Director roles with Goodstart Early Learning. Throughout my career, I have gained experience across a variety of early learning settings, including both private and not-for-profit services, and have undertaken diverse roles that have shaped my leadership approach.

I hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, as well as a Diploma of Business. I am passionate about leading our centre and working collaboratively with our dedicated team to ensure every child within our community feels supported, valued, and inspired to learn.

I strongly believe that it takes a village to raise a child, and I am deeply committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all children have access to high-quality education and care. Equally important to me is ensuring that families feel welcomed, respected, and confident within our centre. We maintain close partnerships with local community organisations that support our children and families.

At Goodstart Warwick-Wood Street, we strive to provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that encourages children to explore the world around them while learning through play and meaningful experiences.

Outside of the centre, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing netball, and supporting my children at their sporting and music activities. My door is always open, and I warmly invite you to visit and tour our beautiful centre.

Structured Kindergarten Program

At Warwick - Wood Street, you and your child can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our centre offers a kindergarten program and long day care under the one roof. Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

With multi-child discounts and government funded Kindergarten/Preschool in some states, out-of-pocket costs could be even less than you think!

The above fees are effective from 7 July 2025 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.

* Estimates are calculated based on CCS rates as of January 2026, for an activity level of 72 activity hours on a 10hr session and a 3 day booking.
