Connecting with Community on Quandamooka Country
Redlands Integrated Early Years Place hosts ‘Play Day on Quandamooka Country’ community celebration
Located on Quandamooka land, Goodstart Wondall Road, Wynnum West offers a warm and welcoming early learning environment where children feel safe, connected and supported to grow. Nestled opposite Wondall State School and close to parks, shops and transport, our centre is a convenient and community-focused choice for families. As a smaller centre, we create a strong sense of belonging where every child is known, valued and encouraged to explore their interests. Take a tour to experience our unique ‘home away from home’ feel.
What makes our centre special:
Each day, children are supported to explore, create and learn through play in an environment that feels calm, safe and engaging. Our educators build strong, trusting relationships with children, helping them develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
Our smaller setting allows for more personalised learning experiences, where educators truly know each child and can respond to their needs, interests and development. This creates a supportive space where children feel comfortable to express themselves and try new things.
We are proud of our inclusive approach, ensuring every child feels seen, heard and supported. Our diverse team brings a richness of culture and perspective, helping children develop respect and understanding of the world around them.
Families often tell us they value our caring team, strong relationships and welcoming atmosphere. Book a tour today to meet our educators or take a tour to see how we can support your child’s early learning journey in a place that feels like home.

I have proudly worked in the early learning sector since 2000, beginning my journey as a trainee and progressing through roles as an assistant manager before becoming a Centre Director in 2010. Over the years I’ve gained hands on experience across all age groups from birth to six, and my Bachelor of Teaching has equipped me with a deep understanding of early childhood pedagogy and high quality educational practice.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of leading teams through quality improvement journeys to meet—and exceed—the National Quality Standards. I believe strongly that the strength of a centre lies in the strength of its team. I am genuinely excited to support and empower the dedicated educators at Wynnum West Wondall Road, as we continue striving to provide the very best outcomes for children and families.
I recognise that families are a child’s first and most important teachers. Because of this, my door is always open. I value genuine partnerships with families and will always make time to listen, collaborate, and support you. The relationships I build with children, families, educators, and teachers are what make my work so meaningful—every day, I learn just as much from you as you do from me.
On a personal note, I’m a mum of three and relocated from Victoria to Queensland in 2023. Outside of work, you’ll often find me exploring local op shops, enjoying art, or immersed in a good book.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me.
