About Goodstart Wynnum West Wondall Road
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Wynnum West - Wondall Road is located in a residential area close to schools and shops as well as transport routes.
Our centre caters for children aged from six weeks to school age across four rooms. The early learning professionals at Goodstart Wynnum West Wondall Road are either qualified or furthering their study in early education and are able to provide your child with quality early learning experiences.
Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.
This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.
Our nursery and toddler rooms have their own playgrounds and the pre-kindy and Kindergarten share a large yard with shade sails, sandpits, forts and outdoor equipment. The playground areas are wonderful environments for your child to explore their physical and social development.
Creating a natural and sustainable environment is important to the team at Goodstart Wondall Road. Your child will be encouraged to help tend a worm farm, herb and veggie pots and to use the recycling stations in each room. The produce from the herb and veggie pots will be used in the centre’s food and cooking experiences.
All meals are prepared on site by our qualified cook who uses tasty, fresh and nutritional ingredients – just the thing to keep hungry tummies satisfied. Nappies are also provided for children attending the nursery, toddler and pre-kindy rooms.
A major focus for our centre is how working with the broader community can help us enrich the children’s learning experience. Through extra-curricular activities, visits to the centre as well as excursions and participation in community events, we are able to deepen the relationship between the centre and the community, while teaching the children about being a contributing and active member of society.
Drop in and say hello! We would love to make you and your family welcome and the centre and discuss how we can start your child on a journey of lifelong learning.
