Nestled on Whadjuk Noongar Country, our bright, purpose-built centre offers high-quality early learning and care across four age-based rooms. Conveniently located near Tapping Primary School, Carramar Shopping Centre and the Drovers medical and shopping complex, we're well placed for local families.

Every two months, a librarian from Wanneroo Library visits the centre for interactive storytelling and literacy experiences, helping children develop their language skills and a love of books and reading.

Our partnerships with organisations including Wanneroo Library, FoodCore and Paint the Town REaD extend children's learning beyond the centre. These community connections create meaningful opportunities that support literacy, wellbeing and children's understanding of the world around them.

A local dentist also visits twice each year to provide dental checks for registered children, supporting healthy habits and helping children learn about the importance of looking after their teeth from an early age.

Children's wellbeing is at the heart of our approach. Through daily physical activity, outdoor play, movement experiences and wellbeing-focused learning, children are supported to feel safe, confident and ready to explore. Our play-based program encourages children to follow their curiosity, build relationships and develop skills that support learning now and into the future.

Our team includes four Bachelor-qualified early childhood teachers who bring their expertise to children's learning and development. Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, our programs respond to children's individual interests, strengths and stages of development.

From Nursery through to Kindergarten, children are supported to build the confidence, independence, language and social skills that create strong foundations for future learning. Our connection with Tapping Primary School further supports children's transition to school, helping them become familiar with the next stage of their learning journey.

Our families come from a range of cultural backgrounds, and we celebrate this diversity through inclusive practices, cultural experiences and everyday learning. With educators who speak Portuguese and Spanish, we value the different languages, traditions and perspectives families bring to our centre and encourage children to develop respect and appreciation for the world around them.

At Goodstart Tapping, our philosophy centres around the belief that every child is a unique individual with their own interests and strengths. We embrace a play-based learning approach that nurtures curiosity and creativity, allowing children to explore their world in meaningful ways.

Through our philosophy, we aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and become confident, capable learners. 
Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. 
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators. 
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.

It’s a home away from home and our little one has grown in leaps and bounds since starting out in the nursery room to now being in the Toddler room. Couldn’t ask for a better Team to take care of your children. The care and attention that is given to each child is amazing and being able to explore and develop at their own pace too. Hi, I'm Claire and I'm very excited to introduce myself as the Centre Director at Goodstart Tapping.

I have over 15 years’ experience in the Early Childhood and Education Sector and have worked in a range of roles for the company. I currently hold Diplomas of Early Childhood Education and Care, School Age Education and Care, Leadership and Management and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessing.

I am passionate about early learning and find enjoyment every day in being able to provide a safe, welcoming and high quality learning environment for all children. I am also a mother and understand from a parents perspective what we look for in a great centre and what is important in the day to day care of children.

At the heart of everything we do at the centre are the strong and open relationships we have with our children and their families. Our team of educators are all highly qualified and experienced and we welcome you to come and have a look at our centre and explore how we can support you and your child.

Structured Kindergarten Program

At Tapping, you and your child can enjoy the best of both worlds. Our centre offers a kindergarten program and long day care under the one roof. Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.

With multi-child discounts and government funded Kindergarten/Preschool in some states, out-of-pocket costs could be even less than you think!

The above fees are effective from 6 July 2026 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.

* Estimates are calculated based on CCS rates as of January 2026, for an activity level of 72 activity hours on a 10hr session and a 3 day booking.
