Goodstart Albury - Banff Avenue

Goodstart Early Learning Childcare Centre Albury - Banff Avenue is located in a quiet street close to the business centre of Albury.

We are a close community with strong family friendships. Our centre is a warm, stimulating environment which encourages the healthy development of belonging, being and becoming in all of our children.

Our childcare centre has a diverse range of educators of all ages with a variety of life experiences & knowledge. We aim to make our centre feel like 'a home away from home' and offer a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Our centre philosophy is reflective of sustainability and the environment and this is evident throughout our curriculum as well as our excursions, with bushwalking being a weekly practice in our Preschool program.

Community is important to us at Goodstart Albury Banff Avenue, and we take every opportunity to be involved with events and offer our support. Our centre is situated in a residential area in the centre of Albury and is a beautiful area especially in autumn with the large trees around.

The centre has been transformed from two old houses, creating our three main rooms, each with separate yards to facilitate age appropriate and challenging experiences for each group. Our playgrounds have sandpits, cubbyhouse, flower and veggie gardens, a mud kitchen, fairy garden, bark and stone gardens and lots of shade.

Our educators pride themselves on providing an educational program which is fun and stimulating to support the development each and every child, while still being aligned to the Early Years' Learning Framework. Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. 

Family engagement is an important part of our philosophy and we encourage families to participate in events throughout the year such as Mother's and Father's Day morning teas, Preschool graduations, and Christmas concerts.
