We're your local not-for-profit early learning and long day care centre. Here, we take pride in providing families and children with a village that supports them every step of the way.
Located in West Dubbo on Wiradjuri Country, our purpose-built centre offers nurturing, play-based learning environments designed for children aged six weeks to five years.
With strong community connections, longstanding educators and a focus on each child's individuality, we create a safe and welcoming space where children can grow, discover and thrive. We invite you to take a tour of our service and experience the difference firsthand – we'd love to show you around.
You'll find us in a convenient location near Macquarie Anglican Grammar, St Pius X, and West Primary School, as well as Delroy College and the Delroy Park Shopping Complex. We're easily accessible by car or bus.

We support families through ongoing communication via Storypark, face-to-face conversations, and regular events, ensuring parents feel included in their child's learning journey. At Goodstart Dubbo - Baird Drive, our philosophy centres around the belief that every child is a unique individual with their own interests and strengths. We embrace a play-based learning approach that nurtures curiosity and creativity, allowing children to explore their world in meaningful ways.

Through our philosophy, we aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and become confident, capable learners. 
Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. 
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators. 
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.  
At our Dubbo - Baird Drive centre, we're proud to inspire your child's love of learning with the support of our passionate and qualified early childhood experts. Teachers with bachelor's degrees run our three and four-year-old preschool program, so children can be well on their way to excellent learning outcomes by the time they start school.

I have been in the Early Learning and Education and care industry since 2004. I have a Bachelor of Teaching and been Director at this centre since 2012.
I started as a casual educator moving through the roles of assistant, group leader, second in charge then director.
My passion is helping children to navigate their early years, through partnership with families and the community.
I have lived in Dubbo for over 15 years and I value the small town, family orientated feel of the area.
I am fortunate to work with a highly qualified and experienced team, whose passion for the industry is matched by a commitment to the children within our service.
