Goodstart Early Learning Fairfield Heights is located in close proximity to the Boulevard Shopping Precinct and next to Fairfield Heights Public School. We have plenty of onsite parking and are close to public transport, shops banks and the Post office.
The centre provides care and education for children aged 2 to 5 years. We are privileged to have many cultures represented in the centre, and have built strong networks with support services in the local community.
All educators have worked in the centre over extensive periods including relief staff and therefore positive relationships have been established based on trust and honesty.
Many of the educators speak languages other than English which includes Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Italian, Arabic, Thai and Indonesian. Educators are qualified in accordance to NSW regulations.
Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colorful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.
This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.
Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability.
We have a qualified cook providing tasty, nutritious well balanced meals for children.
We encourage families to come in and share stories, knowledge and aspects of their culture and occupations with us in a non-confrontational casual manner. We have strong connections with our community through participating in community events such as tree day and Christmas hampers for those in need.
Our centre values our community, we have received certificates of recognition from the Salvation Army for helping out people in need of a helping hand. We also include many community service activities into our curriculum, such as The Fire dept., The Police and Bravhearts who come to our centre to interact and share knowledge with our children.
We would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and your family and learn a little about how we can best support you on the journey of lifelong learning.
