Discover our nurturing early learning and long day care centre, built on Larrakia Country - just minutes from Darwin's CBD, close to Palmerston.
We offer high-quality education and care for children from six weeks to five years, with four age-specific rooms including two dedicated nursery spaces and approved preschool program.
Families value our central location, extended opening hours from 6:30am to 6pm, and our experienced, longstanding educators who provide stability and continuity of care.
We celebrate our diverse, multicultural community and create a welcoming, supportive environment for every child and family.

Centre Director
Hi, I’m Harshani, the Centre Director at Goodstart Stuart Park. I bring with me over 20 years of experience working in the early childhood sector and over 16 of those years with Goodstart Early Learning.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education along with a strong background in supporting children’s holistic growth and development. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with children from diverse backgrounds and age groups, which has given me a deep understanding of the unique needs of every child.
My Passion
Caring for and educating children has always been more than just a career for me - it is my calling. I find joy in nurturing children’s curiosity, guiding their learning journey, and celebrating their milestones, big and small. Watching children grow into confident, kind, and capable individuals is the most rewarding part of my work.
My Personal Philosophy
I believe that every child is unique and full of potential. My philosophy is to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children feel valued, respected, and encouraged to explore at their own pace. I see myself as both a teacher and a learner - helping children discover the world while also learning from their natural sense of wonder and creativity. Play-based learning, respect for individuality, and building strong, trusting relationships form the foundation of my approach.

I will always strive to provide the highest standard of care, ensuring that your child feels secure, supported, and inspired to learn. Open communication with families is very important to me, as I believe we are partners in your child’s growth. I am dedicated to working closely with you to provide consistent care, share progress, and celebrate achievements together.
