Our centre is a beautiful, clean, colourful, and bright child care centre purpose-built on Kaurna land. We're just a short distance from the Salisbury Highway and within walking distance of the Mawson Lakes interchange.
Our service is equipped to provide the best quality education and care for your child. All our educators are trained and passionate about providing a warm, safe and nurturing environment.
We have five spaces: two nurseries for babies, a toddler room, and two preschool classrooms, plus an upgraded outdoor yard. Why not take a tour, meet the team and see for yourself?
At Goodstart Mawson Lakes - Elder Drive, your child's learning and happiness are our priority. We have three early childhood teachers who lead our toddler room and preschool program.
Our educators aim to provide a fun and stimulating program with various experiences to encourage curiosity and exploration.

Our staff speaks many languages, including English, Greek, Cambodian, Vietnamese, Bangla, Indian, Chinese, Burmese, Albanian, Portuguese, Arabic, and Sri Lankan. They enrich the experience of our children and help new families feel a sense of belonging.
We celebrate our diverse families every year by putting on a multicultural night. This has now been running for five years and is something our community look forward to.
We encourage family participation at all levels, from volunteering in the rooms reading stories to cooking experiences, coming together for sports days, Grandparent's Day and our annual Christmas party.

We embrace a play-based learning approach that nurtures curiosity and creativity, allowing children to explore their world in meaningful ways.

Through our philosophy, we aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and become confident, capable learners. 
Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. 
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators. 
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.  
At our Goodstart Mawson Lakes - Elder Drive centre, we're proud to inspire your child's love of learning with the support of our passionate and qualified early childhood experts. Teachers with bachelor's degrees run our preschool program, so children can be well on their way to excellent learning outcomes by the time they start reception.

I completed my Diploma in Community Services in 2001. I am very excited and happy to be the Centre Director here, and proud to have been a part of opening Goodstart Early Learning Mawson Lakes Elder Drive and building our strong and dedicated team of educators. My goal is to ensure that our child care centre is a safe, friendly and welcoming environment for all families.
I believe it is the responsibility of the carer to maintain a safe, healthy, consistent, caring, loving, exciting and organised environment. I believe children should be given opportunities and encouragement to reach their full potential in all aspects of their development.
