My name is Mary Bosco, and I am honoured to serve as the Centre Director at Goodstart Hobart, a role I commenced in November 2024.

My journey with Goodstart Early Learning began in 2012, starting as an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) at Goodstart Claremont. Over the years, I have been fortunate to grow within the organisation, including stepping into a dual role as both ECT and Educational Leader (EL) during a maternity leave period, and most recently, serving as Acting Assistant Director in September 2024.

Working closely with children, families, and educators has been a source of great joy and fulfilment throughout my career. Some of my most rewarding moments have been spent on the floor with children—listening to their imaginative ideas and witnessing their growth and learning. This enduring passion for early childhood education continues to inspire and motivate me in my leadership.

Returning to Goodstart Hobart as Centre Director holds special significance, as I was once a parent here in 2004. It truly feels like coming full circle, and I am incredibly proud to now lead the centre where my own son began his early learning journey.

As a parent of four children and a fur baby, I deeply appreciate the importance of providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive. I am dedicated to building strong partnerships with families and supporting our educators to deliver enriching learning experiences.

I look forward to collaborating closely with the Goodstart Hobart community to continue fostering a centre where every child feels valued, inspired, and supported.

The above fees are effective from 7 July 2025 and are based on a 10 hour session, for attendance between 2 and 4 days per week. 5 day bookings receive a generous discount per day. Note that different combinations of sessions times and number of days can increase or decrease the daily rate.
