Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Dandenong Heatherton Road is a purpose-built child care centre located in a residential area, close to schools, shops and community facilities. We are also close to the CBD and main freeways.
We have five rooms – Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - which accommodates children from 6 weeks to 5 years.
At Goodstart Early Learning Dandenong Heatherton Road, every child is important. Our aim is to encourage each child’s individual potential, providing them with the opportunities to learn and grow in a fun and educational environment.
Our outdoor learning environment includes natural experiences and extended the play area so that all the children play in the one space. Having a shared yard allows siblings and friends to play together regardless of their ages or which group they belong to.
Another great feature of our centre is that we have an onsite chef, who prepares tasty and nutritious meals for the children.
Our high quality receptive programs are in line with the Early Years Learning Framework. All programs provide rich learning experiences developed through a strength/interest based approach as we view children as capable, competent learners/contributors and acknowledge them as active participants in learning.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
We also offer educational sessions for the children by the relevant professionals from the local community and also organize parent information sessions to cover the essential topics related to the family’s needs.
Dandenong is a very multicultural suburb. Our families represent a wide range of cultures and backgrounds.
We offer a variety of experiences and events that celebrate our children's cultures. These include Australia Day, Chinese New Year, Vietnamese Mid-Autumn festival, Cambodian Royal Ploughing day, Eid, Diwali and many more. As part of our community involvement, a General Practitioner visits our centre on a regular basis; this helps the families to check their children’s health if needed while they are at work.
Our educators are from diverse cultural backgrounds and are fluent in some of the local community languages. Our educators are highly qualified and have quality experience in the early learning sector and are enthusiastic and passionate about the role they play in the lives of our children and they continuously support families in children’s development.
We invite you to come and visit our centre to meet our team and to see for yourself our commitment to your child’s early learning journey.
