Goodstart Doveton is a warm and homely centre providing quality education and care for children from six weeks to five years of age.
We believe that every day should be an adventure and fun while preparing your children for school and giving them the best start in their education life. We believe every child requires individual attention and we aim to develop their unique skills and abilities throughour learning programs.
We document and share each child’s learning experiences with families through Storypark and meaningful conversations working in partnership with the Early Years Learning Framework/Victorian Early Years Learning and Developmental Framework.
Our educators have lots of experience with the right qualifications to provide specialised programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework.
We provide delicious and nutritious meals prepared by a qualified cook. This includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. We also cater to a variety of dietary requirements including Halal meat and vegetarian options. To further explore food, sustainability and good nutrition our cooks and educators often host cooking experiences where children are invited to collect ingredients from our herb and vegetable gardens and actively participate in cooking.
We recognize that the values and opinions of families and the wider community are important, and believe by working together we will encourage children to understand and respect each other.
My favourite part of my day-to-day work is meeting beautiful families and making new discoveries alongside little learners. Every day is a blessing watching children grow and learn through play while they are in our care.
I am blessed to work with a team of educators who are passionate, considerate, educated, inspiring and welcoming. We all enjoy developing connections with children, families and the community and understand that learning is a lifelong journey.
