Goodstart Drysdale

Goodstart Early Learning Drysdale is located in a quiet, suburban street close to community services, transport, shops and schools. We opened in 2006 and we care for up to 78 children daily, aged from six weeks to school age.

We have four purpose-built rooms - Nursery, Toddlers, PreKinder and a Funded Kindergarten Program – which are all set up with the highest quality sensory and play based learning experiences in mind. Our curriculum is aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework, however collaboration with our parents and families vital to ensure all children’s needs, interests and strengths are factored into the program. We use the Storypark platform to keep parents informed of all their children’s milestones, developments and interest and we work closely with our community to help enrich the centre’s activities.

Outside, all our rooms have adjoining yards. We offer spacious, stimulating environments in which our children can explore, learn and grow. Sand pits and garden beds, paths and natural surrounds, as well as our pet fish and turtle, help the children learn about sustainability and responsibility.
Lots of play leads to hungry tummies and our qualified chef prepares scrumptious meals daily with allergy and dietary requirements catered for with individualised meals for those children that require them.

We recognise the first five years of a child’s life are critical for development and therefore the experiences children have in these years help to shape the adults they will become. More than anything else, the relationships your child develops shapes the way they learn and grow.

We have a dedicated team of passionate educators who take pride in providing a fun and educational learning environment for each and every child in our care based upon the children’s strengths and interests. We have a strong team dynamic which offers our families great continuity of care with the majority of staff having worked at the centre for many years.

We work in partnership with families and enjoy sharing triumphs, challenges and special moments all throughout the year as part of each child’s learning journey. Committed educators combined with the close-knit community of Drysdale, allows us to provide a secure, friendly and caring environment for both children and their families.
