We're your local early learning and long day care centre based on the lands of the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation.

Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them.
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators.
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.

Highly recommend Goodstart Early Learning on Deloraine drive to any parent requiring childcare services. My son started in the nursery room and now is in the Kinder room with the lovely teacher Raj, the relationships my son has built with the educators are valued and they have become part of my son’s family. He loves attending— and I love seeing the photos that are uploaded regularly on the app and the artwork he always brings home. Every staff encounter I’ve had has been so friendly & kind. From the friendly faces when I’m dropping him off to picking him up and hearing about his day. Hi, my name is Chathuri, and I’m the Centre Director at Goodstart Hoppers Crossing – Deloraine Drive.
Hello!
I am absolutely thrilled to introduce myself as the new Centre Director at Goodstart Deloraine Drive. I’m excited to become part of this wonderful community and look forward to getting to know the children, families and educators who make this centre so special.
My name is Chathuri, but please feel free to call me Cece, it's much easier to pronounce, and that's what most people know me by!
My journey in Early Childhood Education has been both rewarding and diverse. Over the past five years with Goodstart, I’ve had the privilege of working across a range of leadership roles, including Kindergarten Teacher, Educational Leader, Assistant Director, Acting Centre Director and most recently, Off-the-Floor Assistant Director. Each role has strengthened my passion for leading high-quality early learning environments and supporting teams to provide the very best outcomes for children.
Interestingly, my career began in accounting before I discovered my passion for Early Childhood Education. That career change has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I truly believe that the early years lay the foundation for lifelong learning, and I feel incredibly fortunate to work in a profession where I can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families every day.
As a leader, I value building genuine relationships with children, families and educators. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued and inspired to learn, and that strong partnerships with families are at the heart of creating a nurturing and inclusive environment. My leadership style is collaborative, approachable and centred on continuous improvement, supporting both children and educators to thrive.
I’m also passionate about lifelong learning. Alongside my role, I’m currently completing my Master of Education, which forms the first year of my planned PhD journey. My hope is to continue all the way through to completing my doctorate, hopefully with my little boy, Rory, cheering me on every step of the way!
Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my husband and our son, Rory. We enjoy travelling, exploring new places and creating special family memories together. I also have a real passion for cooking and love experimenting with different cuisines from around the world, there’s always a new recipe on my list to try! These experiences bring me so much joy and remind me of the importance of family, connection and celebrating different cultures, values that I also bring into my work every day.
I’m looking forward to meeting each of you, getting to know your families and working together to create a warm, welcoming and inspiring environment where every child feels safe, supported and excited to learn. My door is always open, so please don't hesitate to come and say hello, ask a question or simply have a chat.
