We invite you to explore our vibrant learning spaces and meet our passionate educators. Our early learning program caters for children from six weeks to five years. We tailor experiences across two nurseries, two toddler rooms, and two kindergarten rooms.
With qualified early childhood teachers leading curricula in both kindergarten rooms, we offer play-based learning based on the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and a government-funded 4-year-old kinder program.
Our diverse team reflects our multicultural community, with educators who speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi and English. Children enjoy a global approach to early learning, with onsite meals inspired by international cuisines, and events that celebrate different cultures and traditions.

At Goodstart Vermont - Canterbury Road North, our philosophy centres around the belief that every child is a unique individual with their own interests and strengths. We embrace a play-based learning approach that nurtures curiosity and creativity, allowing children to explore their world in meaningful ways.

Through our philosophy, we aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and become confident, capable learners. 
Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. 
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators. 
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.  
At our Vermont - Canterbury Road North centre, we're proud to inspire your child's love of learning with the support of our passionate and qualified early childhood experts. Teachers with bachelor's degrees run our three and four-year-old kindergarten program, so children can be well on their way to excellent learning outcomes by the time they start school.

I have been working in the childcare industry for 15 years and I hold my advanced Diploma in childcare. During my career I have had the opportunity to work with different age groups and across the variety of areas in the industry.
I have two beautiful boys of my own, so I understand the need for parents to have peace of mind when seeking out the best in early learning and child care for their child. That's why we have a policy of open and clear communication.
For me, it is all about making learning fun for the children; allowing them to be children, while offering them the very best in early learing opportunities.
