Reflecting on 2020 with your Family

Early learning

At Goodstart, we’re for being a place where our children, our families and our people feel like they truly belong and where they can grow and thrive.

To help you reflect on 2020, we have provided some activities for you to do with your family and keep as a memory you can look back on (you could even include them in your Time Capsule).

How did you feel when….?

Using the Feelings Poster from our Behaviour Support Kit, ask your children to express how they felt about certain things in 2020. For example:
  • How did you feel when you had to stay home from Goodstart?
  • How did you feel when you got to go back to Goodstart?
  • How did you feel when you couldn’t see family or friends interstate or overseas?
  • How did you feel when you got to spend more time at home with family?

Add your own questions from your experience this year.

If you’d like to find out more about the resources we have available in our Behaviour Support Kit that help children manage their emotions, visit the Goodstart@Home website.
