About our centre

Welcome to Goodstart Aspendale Gardens!

We’re a purpose-built early learning centre on Bunurong land. Our care and education programs cater to the diverse needs of children, from babies to school age.

Discover our nurturing nurseries for our youngest learners, two toddler spaces, classrooms for three- and four-year-old kindergarten, and large outdoor yards. We invite you to book a tour; our team would love to show you around.

We’re on a service road just off Springvale Road, close to Edithvale-Seaford Wetlands, and a short drive from Aspendale Gardens Primary School.

Each age-appropriate nurturing environment promotes physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, empowering children with skills for school and life. We keep track of their learning journeys by timestamping milestones and achievements.

When you arrive for your tour, you’ll see why our families love our convenient location. We’re in a safe base, just along a service road, close to a main road.

You’ll meet our longstanding staff, who take pride in working to build trusting, collaborative relationships with parents and guardians. We communicate regularly with families to ensure your peace of mind.

We look forward to showing you around our environment, which includes spacious walkways, well-resourced indoor learning spaces, and three yards for nature play. Our sustainable outdoor space features sandpits, a veggie patch, compost bins, a worm farm, and shade.

When you enrol with us, you’ll embark on our excellent orientation program that helps our new families get settled and feel at home.

At Goodstart Aspendale Gardens, our philosophy centres around the belief that every child is a unique individual with their own interests and strengths. We embrace a play-based learning approach that nurtures curiosity and creativity, allowing children to explore their world in meaningful ways. 
We prioritise:

Through our philosophy, we aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and become confident, capable learners. 
Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. 
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators. 
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.  
At our Goodstart Aspendale Gardens centre, we're proud to inspire your child's love of learning with the support of our passionate and qualified early childhood experts. Teachers with bachelor's degrees run our three and four-year-old kindergarten program, so children can be well on their way to excellent learning outcomes by the time they start school.
