About Goodstart Hope Valley
Every staff member contributes to making Goodstart Early Learning Hope Valley a centre that is a safe, nurturing and aesthetically inviting. As a team we pride ourselves on offering a centre that celebrates diversity and encourages gender equality.
We provide care that reflects the home environment and values of our families. We aim to have lots of fun, whilst offering all of our children a developmentally stimulating environment.
Our main aim is to ensure each child that commences in the Nursery leaves the Kindy room a confident, self sufficient, happy child, ready to face the challenges at school. To achieve this we often have incursions at the centre offering different experiences for the children. Some of the children's favourites are when the animals, fire department, ambulance and police department come to visit our centre. These experiences are expanded on and used as teaching tools, following the interests of the children.
We are a fully accredited centre and work hard to maintain our high standards. Families often comment on our minimal staff turnover. Our hard work is celebrated through parents acknowledging what we do. We're blessed to often receive family testimonials full of praise for the centre. A few of our testimonials have been uploaded in the news section for your to read. We would love for you to come and visit our centre, meet our wonderful staff and become a member of the family at Goodstart Early Learning Hope Valley.

Jo Evans & Effie Arharidis Centre Director
At Goodstart Hope Valley we are fortunante to have two Centre Directors. The Centre Director's role is shared between Co-Directors Jo Evans and Effie Arharidis. Jo is available Monday to Wednesday with Effie managing the centre on Thursday and Friday.
I joined the Early Learning sector with Goodstart Early Learning more than three years ago. I have been fortunate to work across a number of roles from educator, team leader and now as a Centre Director.
I am passionate about educating all walks of life and believe learning is a life long journey.
At Goodstart Hope Valley we focus on building strong relationships with our children and families ensuring they feel safe and secure in our service. We have a strong focus on developing children’s social skills and school readiness to help them make a seamless transition to school. I believe it is the key to building and nurturing the future minds and hearts of our next generation.
I often say to those around me that I have the best job in the world. I would do this every day for free as I have love for seeing children grow into themselves and having the opportunity to assist educators to develop skills they didn’t know they could reach.
I have worked in the Early Childhood sector for more than 25 years, both here in Australia and the UK.
I have been a part of the Goodstart family since it originated in 2009. I believe strongly in our guiding principles - children are central to everything we do - and we strive to make this happen at Goodstart Hope Valley .
Effie and I are fortunate to lead a team of experienced, passionate and highly qualified early childhood educators who provide an exciting program to help children learn, grow and develop in a nurturing environment. Our goal is to ensure that both you and your child have the opportunity to create positive relationships at Goodstart Hope Valley that will enable your child to reach their full potential.
We look forward to meeting you and your family.
