Our centre features five rooms surrounded by large outdoor areas shaded by beautiful deciduous trees, encouraging exploration and play in all seasons.

At Goodstart Hope Valley, our philosophy centres around the belief that every child is a unique individual with their own interests and strengths. We embrace a play-based learning approach that nurtures curiosity and creativity, allowing children to explore their world in meaningful ways.

Through our philosophy, we aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and become confident, capable learners. 
Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them. 
Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators. 
We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.  
At our Goodstart Hope Valley centre, we're proud to inspire your child's love of learning with the support of our passionate and qualified early childhood experts. Teachers with bachelor's degrees run our three and four-year-old preschool program, so children can be well on their way to excellent learning outcomes by the time they start reception.

Goodstart Hope Valley has been invaluable to our family unit. The staff have been supportive and understanding to our specific needs. My child has thrived under the care and guidance of the staff. He has learnt some very important and appropriate emotional regulation, both from the staff and his peers. Since my daughter started in January of 2021 (6 months old), the centre has been a warm, welcoming and happy space for her to grow, learn and explore. The amazing staff in the Nursery rooms helped me more than they'll ever know, taking the lead on introducing her to new foods and textures. Throughout the years she has bonded so closely with many of the staff, though some have moved on, she embraces the new staff quickly. Special mention to Michelle and her amazing kindy program, getting her ready for big school and growing her confidence so much in such a short time.

Hello, my name is Sandra and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Hope Valley.

I have my Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care and have been in the sector for 20 years, with 12 years’ experience as a Centre Director.

Working with children, watching them grow and develop is my favourite part of my role. My goal each day is to ensure all children, families and educators are feeling safe and secure in their environment.

I am very excited to be the new Centre Director for Goodstart Hope Valley!
