About Goodstart Hoppers Crossing Morris Road
At Goodstart Hoppers Crossing Morris Road we create a family friendly atmosphere and recognise the importance of creating a link between home and our child care centre. We understand the importance of your child’s happiness so together in partnership with families; we will achieve outstanding learning experiences.
We work as a team by supporting each other; we help to build trusting and respectful relationships through open communication and respecting different points of view.
Our goal is to create an environment that reflects adventure, mystery and exploration in children’s play spaces.
We work on ways to incorporate sustainability into our program in meaningful ways, and embed it into what we do on a day-to-day basis, by increasing awareness of environmental responsibilities for educators, family’s children and local communities.
At Goodstart Hoppers Crossing Morris Road, we continuously work on providing natural environments that support children to become active participants in sustainability and to understand and care about our environment.
We offer 2 years of kinder. That's two years of continued high-quality early learning, playing and making friends. Everything your child needs to feel ready for school.

Rosemarie Overton Centre Director
My name is Rosemarie Overton and I am the Centre Director at Goodstart Morris Road, Hoppers Crossing.
I moved to Melbourne ten years ago after completing my Bachelor of Teaching/Early Childhood at Newcastle University. I was originally the Kindergarten teacher at Goodstart The Strand Point Cook for seven years, then moved to Lemongrass Circuit Point Cook to take on the Centre Director role as a maternity leave position. I did this for three years and was then successful in securing a permanent position at Morris Road.
My personal philosophy is that children learn by doing, by mentoring each other and need time to explore and question. I still enjoy spending time in all of the rooms, interacting with the children and educators and offering advice and mentoring when required.
I am looking forward to working with all the children and families here at Morris Road
