About Goodstart Ocean Reef

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Ocean Reef is located at the end of Marina Boulevard. We are conveniently located a two minute walk from Ocean Reef Primary School as well as shops, transport and main roads.

Our child care centre opens at 6:30am and closes at 6:00pm Monday to Friday. We are only closed on weekends and public holidays. We are licensed for 85 children each day.

We have four large rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten and we are fully staffed. The majority of our educators have worked at our centre for over five years and through this time have come to know all families very well.

Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten– are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling.

We use a program called Storypark, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements.

Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. 

Community is also important to us and through visits to the centre and participation in events and activities throughout the year we are able to enrich the learning experience. Art and music experiences are provided on a daily basis which allow the children to freely express their creativity.
