Welcome to Goodstart Wentworthville!

Our inclusive early learning centre is built on the traditional lands of the Boolbainora clan of the Darug people, providing care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

We're just a short walk from the train station and local schools, easily accessible via the M4.

Offering nurturing care and child-led, play-based learning for babies in our nursery, through toddlers, and an approved preschool program, we create a safe, nurturing space and support little learners to grow, learn, and thrive.

Our passionate, highly qualified educators foster strong connections to the community and tailor education and care to meet the needs of every child.

We invite you to take a tour and experience our centre's warm, home-like feel and meet our committed educators who truly go above and beyond.

Why families choose us:

  • Highly qualified educators, including ECTs and a Master-qualified teacher
  • Inclusive approach with strong experience supporting children with additional needs
  • Multilingual staff who can communicate with families in Hindi, Sinhala, Vietnamese, Nepalese and more
  • Fresh, nutritious, allergen-friendly meals cooked onsite daily
  • Community connections with local schools, shops, library and nursing homes
  • Excursions to the veggie store, local park, nursing home, council library, and school for orientation
  • Conveniently located near Wentworthville train station, shopping centre and swimming pool

Our small, homely environment makes drop-offs smoother, with consistent educators who build strong bonds with children.

We believe in working in partnership with parents and caregivers, welcoming feedback and tailoring programs to reflect each family's culture, language and values.

Children enjoy play-based learning across indoor and outdoor spaces, with a focus on sustainability, creativity, and social-emotional skills. We partner with Wentworthville and Darcy Road Public Schools to run our school readiness program.

Our team is known for open communication, inclusive practices and fostering a strong sense of belonging in each child.

Book a tour today or drop in for a stay-and-play session. We'd love to welcome you and your child and look forward to discussing how we can support their learning journey.

Learn more about Goodstart Wentworthville

  • At Goodstart Wentworthville, our philosophy centres around the belief that every child is a unique individual with their own interests and strengths. We embrace a play-based learning approach that nurtures curiosity and creativity, allowing children to explore their world in meaningful ways.

    We prioritise:

    1. Holistic Development: Supporting cognitive, emotional, social, and physical growth through engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
    2. Family and Community Engagement: Building strong partnerships with families and the community to create a supportive network for each child.
    3. Inclusive Environment: Celebrating diversity and ensuring that all children feel valued, respected, and included.
    4. Lifelong Learning: Instilling a love of learning by encouraging exploration, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Through our philosophy, we aim to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and become confident, capable learners.

  • Children need to feel safe and supported to learn and grow, so we promote key educator relationships between our educators and children. Your child will have at least one educator (their key educator) who takes them under their wing and really gets to know them.

Our Key Educator relationships help children form secure attachments. Educators work closely with smaller groups and individual children to better understand each child. These relationships lead to improved outcomes for children as we foster more communication between families and educators.

We inform families regularly about their child's progress and welcome family involvement in our centre events and activities.

  • At our Goodstart Wentworthville centre, we're proud to inspire your child's love of learning with the support of our passionate and qualified early childhood experts. Teachers with bachelor's degrees run our preschool program, so children can be well on their way to excellent learning outcomes by the time they start school.

  • At Goodstart, we believe all children deserve the best possible start in life, which includes access to high-quality early childhood education and care. We offer:

    • Discounts on multiple days
    • All day sessions
    • Fee assistance programs for families that need support
  • We work closely with parents to ensure the individual needs, interests and strengths of children are considered, and our learning goals reflect them. Using Storypark, a wonderful communication platform, we stay in close touch with families and ensure you're well informed about your child's development and achievements.

Kamaljeet Kaur

Centre Director

Hello, my name is Kamaljeet Kaur, and I am delighted to have joined Goodstart Wentworthville as the Centre Director in early 2025. With a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, I bring over seven years of dedicated experience in the childcare sector, primarily in leadership roles. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with both Montessori and private childcare providers across Australia, enriching my understanding and passion for early childhood development.
What truly inspires me every day is the opportunity to engage with young children, witnessing their growth and supporting their unique developmental journeys. Being part of these formative moments fills me with immense joy and purpose, and I am committed to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

My Early Learning values:
I deeply believe that a child’s earliest experiences in early childhood education must be positive and safe, as they play a vital role in shaping their lifelong attitude toward learning.

What I love about our community:
Absolutely love our community. They appreciate the work we do, and that strong sense of community spirit is woven into everything we accomplish and strive for.

A little more about me:
Outside of work, I am a proud mother of two wonderful children who are the heart of my world. I enjoy peaceful walks along the beach and discovering charming cafés to relax and unwind.

Why your child should spend the day with me (and the amazing team at Goodstart Wentworthville):

At Goodstart Wentworthville, we warmly welcome all families and pride ourselves on being an inclusive community. Our commitment is to create a safe, serene, and natural environment that nurtures children’s five senses, inspiring wonder, curiosity, and meaningful intellectual exploration.

I look forward to welcoming you and your family!
