Starting early learning can feel like a big step. It can also be hard to know what support is available and how much it may cost. That's why The Smith Family and Goodstart Early Learning are working together to help Learning for Life families find clear information and support.
You can choose the early learning service that best meets your family's needs. Goodstart can provide information and support to help you explore your options and make the choice that is right for your family.
Early learning gives your child the chance to learn, play and build important skills before they start school.
Your child can take part in activities that support their learning, development and wellbeing in a safe and caring environment.

No. Financial support can help reduce the cost of early learning, but it does not guarantee your child a place at a service. Places vary between locations and providers.
The amount you pay will depend on your family's circumstances, the support available to you and the service you choose. The Family Support Team can help you understand your options and any costs you may need to pay.
The Family Support Team can help families access financial assistance. This includes the Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS), which provides extra financial help for childcare. Goodstart also offers the Early Learning Fund, which provides financial assistance for up to three days per week, for eligible children, in the years before children start school.
If English is not your preferred language, ask the Family Support Team about interpreting services or translated information that may be available.
