About Goodstart Campbelltown
Goodstart Early Learning Campbelltown is tucked away in a convenient but quiet pocket of Campbelltown, only 20 minutes from the heart of Adelaide. We are close to schools, shops and community amenities and are easily accessible via public transport.
Our centre caters for children from six weeks of age to school age children across our Nursery, Toddler and Kindergarten rooms which are spacious, stimulating and reflect our curriculum.
At Goodstart Campbelltown we also provide a Government-approved kindergarten program with the convenience of long day care hours. Our kindergarten teachers are University qualified and provide a play-based learning program that will support your child in learning the skills for school and life.
Our service also provides a Vacation Care program during school holiday periods.
Children are central to everything we do
We pride ourselves in establishing and maintaining professional, trusting relationships, where children feel confident in their environment, enabling them to feel safe, connected and get the best possible learning outcomes. We enhance children’s relationships and wellbeing using core techniques such as welcome spaces, our key educator approach and play stations.
Our centre is proud to have been awarded national and state awards for our work in ‘Relationships with Children’ as well as awards for our early learning practice and sustainability programs.
We are accredited as an ‘exceeding’ service and our programs are developed in line with the Early Years Learning Framework. We tap into the knowledge and understanding of our children’s parents and families, ensuring each child’s interests and needs are fully provided for.
We have large outdoor areas as well as two unique indoor/outdoor zones where children can continue playing in the fresh air, regardless of the weather. Our play spaces focus on natural, sensory-based experiences with greenhouses, vegetable patches and mud kitchens.
Families are our primary partner
We dedicate ourselves to working closely with each individual family, ensuring your child receives the highest quality care and learning outcomes during their time at Goodstart Campbelltown. We invest in regular family communications through daily conversations, emails and via our online learning system ‘StoryPark’, where you can view photos and updates from your child’s day. We encourage families to participate in our range of free play groups and information sessions and to play an active role in our centre’s community. We value the feedback, ideas and input our family make and invite you to join our family connection and community connection programs.
Being a valued part of each unique community
We pride ourselves in our work with the community through our strong relationships with local businesses and support services. We have a community pantry, library and clothes swap both inside the centre and outside the centre to support our local community. We have a fruit tree ‘community orchard’ with all the fruit openly shared and available for the community to take. Our connections and partnerships include the local Campbelltown Council group ‘LAVA’, community Facebook group ‘Love Campbelltown’ and the Athelstone Men’s Shed.
Join our Facebook community to keep in touch with what's happening in our centre, and get expert information on parenting and early childhood.
We invite you to book a tour and take a look around, meet the team and explore how we can support your early learning journey. We look forward to welcoming you and your family

Christian Gava Centre Director
At Goodstart Early Learning Campbelltown we strive to inspire children and families to achieve greatness through teamwork, communication, educational programs, structured environments and support.
I have been a Centre Director in the early learning sector for 13 years, working in a variety of services, which has given me many opportunities to develop and mature in this role. I have a Diploma in Children’s Services and my personal pedagogy is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, providing opportunities for them to have the best start in life.
For me, being a Centre Director at Goodstart Campbelltown offers an amazing opportunity to build and support families in our service and also in our wider community. I am very lucky to inspire and lead a team of passionate and enthusiastic educators. I encourage and empower my team and believe in mentoring them to become more knowledgeable and develop in their roles.
We have built many connections in our local community, supporting our service in becoming a strong foundation in our local area for families and children. We began our journey by connecting with the local domestic violence unit, providing support to families who may not normally be able to access early learning environments. To support these families and children in their future, we have worked on several projects not only within our centre but also for the wider community, this includes a community pantry, community library, clothes swaps and community orchard.
I look forward to continuing to grow Goodstart Campbelltown’s strong community connections and providing inclusive support all families within the local area.
We would welcome the opportunity to meet you and your child and to discuss how we can work with you to give your child the highest quality in early learning.
