Brooke Townend Centre Director
Hi there! My name is Brooke Townend, and I am the Centre Director of Goodstart Gladesville.
I have been a part of Goodstart for the past 13 years, working as a Lead Educator, Centre Director and Area Manager. During this time and most recently I have spent 8 years leading the team in Mosman. I studied at Macquarie University where I obtained a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education).
My vision is grounded behind Goodstart’s guiding principles, that children are at the centre of everything that we do. The children are the reason that I strive for high quality early learning programs, as I believe that every child is entitled to the highest quality of education and care in their first five years.
I work in partnerships with families to ensure that the education and care that we are providing for families meets their needs, as well as providing them with the support to parent their children through the first five years.
I also strive to be a valued part of our community, through supporting the needs of the community in the education and care that we deliver, as well as meeting the strong social purpose interwoven in the Goodstart organisation.
I look forward to welcoming you to our new centre.
